This point is, I think, worthy of furtherattention ; and careful observations on it might give us valuabledata in regard to the true origin of rheumatism. A solution ofPrussian blue or other injecting fluid is then poured over the lowersurface of the diaphragm, and the aj^paratus for artificial respir-ation set in mution. Before long tlie Prussian blue is pumped intothe lymph spaces of the diaphragm, which then exhibit a beautifulblue network.
