The cyeground is a warm brown or choco- late color, rather (hrply pigmented near the periphery and cov<'red with orange-red dots that are very densely packed on tho ui)per half of the fundus. Uelow the optic entrance are numerous choroidal vessels running paral- lel with and on either side of the papilla. The iiKuiiht is to distinguish and is not clearly vmI, lue ophthalmoscope. It IS situated ahove the sui)erior end of tlio disc on its inner or nasnl side, and about half the apparent length of the peeten from the upper end. The fundus coloring is slightly in the macular area, which is surrounded by » rellex ring, [)ale gray in color, in the form' of very minute lines radiating from its margins.
