WWII re-enactors are seen marching around the military camp. This month it will be 79 years ago that the troops of the American 82nd Airborne Division crossed the Waal River in Nijmegen, to liberate the city from the German occupiers. Because of that, a WWII encampment was recreated on the bank of the river, where re-enactors (participants in authentic military clothing) took visitors back in time with living history.
