OVARIAN CYCLE, DRAWING
Ovarian cycle : follicular phase. Under the effect of the hormones LH and FSH, produced by the hypophyseal gland located under the brain, certain ovarian follicles develop (evolution into a primordial follicle, primary, secondary and tertiary). One of the mature cavitary follicles (Graafian follicle) will jut out at the surface of the ovary and release the ovum, liftered by the infundibulum of the fallopian tube. It is ovulation. See.
