161028-N-OI810-751 PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 28, 2016) Seaman Aldee Alpuerto, from San Francisco, relays communications using a sound-powered telephone during a live-fire exercise of an MK 38 Mod 2 machine gun aboard the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Alpuerto communicated the weapon's status to the remote operating console operator.
