Original WW1 era postcard hospital ward, at Christmas, with nurses, soldiers with minor injuries, army officers, hospital in Cardiff, Wales, circa 1915

Possibly a ward in the King Edward VII Hospital - this building was requisitioned by the War Office to create the 3rd Western General Hospital, a facility for the Royal Army Medical Corps to treat military casualties. It became the Cardiff Royal Infirmary, in 1923. On the reverse it states " Sargent, 12 Albany Road, Cardiff" The location of this photographer is just over 1 mile away, making it probable that this is the Cardiff Royal Infirmary.
