Jakarta, Indonesia. 13th April, 2016. Officials use a bulldozer to demolish illegal houses during an eviction at Luar Batang fisheries village. More than 500 makeshift houses and permanent residences were demolished as the government plans to increase public spaces and tourist attractions in the area. Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama said that the illegal residents in the area use stalls intended for commercial use as homes.
