Varieties Deserving Special Mention. A NEW DEPARTURE IN NASTURTIUMS. TALL AND DWARF CHAMELEON. Tall Chameleon. The most striking and unusual fea- ture which this new class of Nasturtiums presents is that flowers of entirely different colors are produced by a single plant. On a single plant may also be found not only flowers of a single color, but those having a great variety of shadings and edgings. The blooms are produced in great abundance, and are really beautiful. Pkt. 10c.; oz. 40c. Dwarf Chameleon. This is exactly like the above, except in manner of growth, making neat, compact bushes about nine inches in height. Possesses the same unusual peculiarity of producing variously col- ored blooms on a single plant. This sort is specially recommended for edges and borders as well as gen- eral garden decoration. Pkt. 10c.; oz. CENTAUREA IJIPERIALIS. The result of a cross between the violet Sweet Sultan and Centaurea Margarita. Inherits the strong growth of the former and beautiful flower of the latter, but fully double the size; very sweet scented, the color varying through shades of white, purple, rose and lilac. Cut early and they will last ten days in water. Pkt. 10c. Chameleon Nasturtium. NEW PETUNIA "SNOW- ; For an ever-blooming white flower, suitable for beds and borders, this new Petunia has few equals. Our illustration, which is a reproduc- tion from a photograph, shows its dwarf, bushy habit as well as its abundance of bloom. The flowers are purest snow white, of good size and shape, sweet-scented and lasting. The plant is particularly adapted to our climate on account of its heat and drought-resisting qualities.
