Each of these large irregular cliambers communicates ^\â¢ith the exterior by a small round which is usually noticed on the side or near the eye of the apple, fhit of this opening one fre(iuently finds " frass" and much moisture exuding. Attacked fruitlets can fie seen on a tree long liefore they fall. The larva:' may he found of all sizes in June and early Julv. Tossibly two Ijroods over- lap (o).
