Stephanotis jasminoides, Madagascar Jasmine seed pods
The young egg-shaped seed pods of Stephanotis jasminoides, aka Stephanotis floribunda. A woody climber with twining stems and glossy green leathery leaves, this is a sub-tropical tender perennial suitable for greenhouse cultivation. Commonly called the Madagascar Jasmine, bridal wreath or wax flower, the seed pods are considered non-edible, but not toxic, and can grow up to 5 or 6 inches long.
