A 12th century grain store or Agadir at the Berber village of Tizgui in the Anti Atlas mountains of Morocco, North Africa. The grain stores were used to protect food supplies from warring tribes. Due to a 75% reduction in rainfall totals in this region, many of the villages have been abandoned, as it is no longer viable to grow crops.
