Private First Class Joseph T. Dunn, Platoon 1026, Bravo Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, stands at parade rest prior to graduation at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 23. Dunn is a Trophy Club, Texas, native and was recruited out of Recruiting Station Mid-Cities, Texas. Today, all males recruited from west of the Mississippi are trained at MCRD San Diego. The depot is responsible for training more than 16,000 recruits annually.
