King George V , Edward VIII (then Prince of Wales) & the Duke of York (Then Prince Albert) meeting Charles Burgess Fry & J W H T Douglas (his Australian hecklers called him "Johnny Will Hit Today", or conversely "Johnny Won't Hit Today") . The Royals met them at Lords Cricket Ground in 1914. Lords is named after its founder, Thomas Lord and is owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). 1914 was the centenary of Lord’s and was celebrated with a match between an MCC South African team and the Rest, in the presence of King George V .
