Advant-age is taken of the slightly undulating characterof the ground, so that the small circle inclosingthe mound overlooks eveiy part of the work, andcommands a wide prospecton every hand. Two el-liptical terraces, a few feetin height, occur outside ofthe work, near the browof the hill. They are notincluded in the plan.
