Employment is given to five com-petent assistants, while the class of goodshandled, of which they have a large ^tock,consists of teas and coffees of all grudesand prices, and other goods pertaining tothe trade. The business is almost ex-clusively wholesale, although their retailbusiness is very large. Mr. R. G. Richardwas born and educated in Mobile, Ala-bama, and Mr. E.
