CHICAGO (July 1, 2017) - Sarah Rudder, team ambassador and veteran of the Marine Corps, carries the torch into Soldier Field during the 2017 Departmant of Defense Warrior Games opening ceremony. The DoD Warrior Games are an annual event allowing wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans to compete in Paralympic-style sports including archery, cycling, field, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and wheelchair basketball.
