Bub was a new man and came in late. He showed great skill and speed. THE POLY 83. FIRST TEAM BASKET-BALL Harold Elkins, Right Forward, Captain. Bub was one of the fastest men in the state this year. He knew the tricks of thegame and handled the ball well. Many games were won by the captain of the team inthe handling of his men and encouraging them. Harold Lano, Left Forward. Fat was our point getter and decided several close games in our favor,and ability of handling the ball was wonderful. His ease Ivyl Burks, Center. Slim was a center who never found his equal throughout the season. He wasgreat floor worker and basket shooter. His courage and endurance were remarkable. Jake Dunkin, Left Guard. Lefty was one of the hardest workers on our team. His luck was with him through-out every game of the season. He played his position as guard with great skill.
