Members of the Three-Quarter Century Club held their annual meeting in the Camden Amphitheatre on August 6, 1931. Organized in the fall of 1925, membership in the club was for citizens 75 years and older. On that day 3,500 members of the Club arrived in Camden with more than 1,000 friends and relatives. Governor Gardner was the guest speaker and the afternoon was devoted to games, contests, and dancing.
