Caesar's Tower Warwick Castle England

Engraving from Chatterbox magazine of 1900. Although Warwick castle is developed from an original built by Wiiliam the Conqueror in 1068 the tower itself dates to the 14th century. It was also known locally as Poitiers Tower because prisoners from the Battle of Poitiers in 1356 were held there as were prisoners from the first pitched battle of the English civil war in 1642.
