Rabbits in ruins of WW2 mustard gas factory, Japan. This factory is on Okunoshima Island, near Takehara, Hiroshima, Japan. The island was used for chemical weapons production by Japan from 1929 to the end of the Second World War in 1945. After the war, the buildings were abandoned and rabbits released and allowed to go wild (feral). Photographed in August 2017.
