Gleanings in bee culture . FEBRUARY 1, 1916. THP: ideal BEE-VEIL Oftentimes when out in the yard working with the beesone stoops over to pick out a frame, and, as usual, beeskeep buzzing around his head, watching for a chance tosting. The cloth veil which is often used sticks to theface when one bends over, and gives the bees an oppor-tunity to sting. The IDEAL BEE-VEIL is constructedof cloth of wire, there being a cord at the top of theveil used to pull the cloth around the crown of the lower part also has a cord which fastens around thewaist. The wire on the IDEAL veil does not strike theface, and prevents the bees from stinging. It can bereadily seen that a veil of this kind has the cloth veil faroutdistanced for comfort and utility. Sparks from thesmoker do not burn holes in the IDEALS as in the net-ting veil. The veil is manufactured by us, and is recognized bythe best and largest beekeepers as the most practical veilon the market. Red Catalog, postpaid. Simplified Beekeepiag, Everywhere. W. T. Falc
