All colors 25 3776 Single Hybrids. Many colors 15 Pueraria (Japanese Kudzu Vine) 3835 Thunbergiana. To this must be awarded first place as the fastest growing hardy climbing plant. It will grow 8 to 10 feet the first year from seed, and after it has become established there seems to be no limit to its growth, 50 feet in a single season being not unusual. Its foliage is large, and covers well; it bears small racemes of rosy-purple, pea-shaped blossoms towards the close of August.
