When theplants are three or four inches high transplant one foot apart each way, and keepfree of weeds until the leaves are six or eight inches long; then blanch the leavesby gathering them carefully together when perfectly dry, and tying them by theirtips in a conical form with Eoffea to exclude light and air. From three to six weeks is required to thoroughlyblanch. One ounce of seed will sow a bed of about eighty square feet, or one hundred and fifty feet of row. Per oz. Per London Green Curled.
