The Ship And Pilot was a Bass pub in Tiger Bay. Now in Cardiff Bay but obviously still in James Street, it has reopened as a cafe bar called Mischief's. Having a reputation as a pub, that tradition was carried on when the cafe bar was reprimanded and closed temporarily for breaking covid rules during 2020/1.
