A woman from the newly formed grassroots organization “” pickets on a street corner in the small California coastal town of Santa Cruz. organized demonstrations in over 50 cities during the first week of June in 2010. The organization is advocating that the government seize British Petroleum, freeze its assets and create a trust fund to provide immediate relief to people living in the states on the Gulf of Mexico after the massive oil spill at the deepwater horizon well in the Gulf.
