An Austrian silver-hilted small-sword with scabbard, circa 1770 Slender blade of diamond section and lavish (very well preserved) decorative etching against a partially gilt background. A winged lion (Venice?) and the inscription "Rien ne m'arette" on both sides at the forte. Reduced, spirally moulded silver hilt with 13-lotig silver hallmark. Replacement leather scabbard with silver mountings and iron belt hook.
