Drinker moth
Drinker moth (Euthrix potatoria). The flight period of this moth is usually June to August with a single generation overwintering as larvae. It occurs in marshy areas, damp meadows and woodlands and is found widely across Europe. The larvae feed on grasses and reeds. This is the lighter colour form. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in July.
