Golden, Colorado - The Fossil Trace Golf Course. Golfers play near footprints of dinosaurs and traces of other animals and plants from the Late Cretaceous period. The fossils were found on the large sandstone fins after clay was mined from between them. Visitors can walk the adjacent Triceratops Trail to view the fossils.
