As seen from Burnaby Mountain, the community of Deep Cove on the North Shore is barely visible through the dense smoke that continues to linger over Metro Vancouver. The smoke from some of the wildfires in the interior of the province has been drifting to the South Coast for several days, prompting air quality warnings.
