The Sailors of HC-11 are assigned to USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), part of Expeditionary Group Five (ESG-5). Bonhomme Richard is currently operating in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Indonesia and Thailand in support of Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation effort in the wake of the tsunami that struck South East Asia.
