I hear of him once in a while, but I dont believe I remember ever havingactually seen him among the Congressmen atour end of the Capitol building. Consequently,I am forced to infer that he must be either veryparticular or constitutionally weary. In eithercase he need not be lonesome, for we have bothkinds. I dont know what legislation Pumphreyis concerning himself inâwhether its good orIjadâbut in either case he will not accomplishmuch by conducting a gum shoe campaignin Congress. Let him raise his eloquent voicein the House once in a while, even if its onlyto respond to roll-call. He shouldnt hide hislight under a bushelâ
