An Italian campaign sword, circa 1620 Double-edged Solingen export blade, fullers on the upper quarter of both sides. King's head marks stamped three times on both sides along with the signature, "Iohanes Wundes - Soli Deo Gloria" with the Passau wolf and orb. The short ricasso fullered twice. S-shaped curved quillons with octagonal finials and a guard ring on the obverse side. Grip retaining the original iron wire winding and Turk's heads. Asymmetrical flat pommel.
