Tourists wearing diving suits and snorkels around the introductory diving pool which is attached to the large floating platform, anchored close to the Agincourt Reefs. The Agincourt Reefs, known as ‘ribbons’ that run parallel to the Continental Shelf, are a small group of reefs on the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef which is a UNESCO World Heritage Listed site. The Agincourt Reefs lay off the coast of Port Douglas in north-eastern Queensland Australia. As each year passes, the conditions of the reefs are slowly deteriorating partly due to over commercialism, tourism and pollution.
