On the 13th of November, 1759, hewas by patent created Earl of Warwick, and afterv/ardsobtained a grant, to him and his defcendants, earls of Warwick,for bearing the creft anciently ufed by the earls of that county,viz. a Bear erect, argent, muzzled, gules, support- O INO ] ING A Ragged Staff of the first ; and of which granta copy is fuhjoined in the note*. On the 26th of Auguft,1760, his lordfhip had a £fth daughter, born in London, andchriftened Ann.
