Six members of the USS NORMANDY (CG-60) chief's mess carry the flag-draped casket of retired CHIEF Electricians Mate (EMC) Edward Kucher for burial at sea shortly after the ship departed Norfolk, Va. on 18 May for England and France for various D-Day commemorations. Edward Kuchler's son, Electricians Mate First Class (EM1) Paul Kucher was in attendance as were WWII veterans and Navy midshipmen. Country: Atlantic Ocean (AOC)
