SUSANNA STEVENSON. Susanna Stevenson, (Sue) daughter of Elder T. M. Stevenson,went South at the close of the war as a missionary teacher amongthe Freedmen, and continvied in the work, with some interrup-tions, for 13 years. Her first school, at Knoxville, Tennessee, was broken up bvthe Ku-Klux-Klan. She was one of the teachers in the open-ing years of Fiske School, now Fiske University, at Nashville,Tennessee. For twenty years she has been a teacher in the publicschools of Topeka, Kansas. 4 2* * MRS. JENNIE MRS. JENNIE STEVENSON-KOONS AND SON. Hannah Jane , (Jennie) sister of Sue and Lizzie, wasalso a missionary teacher among the Freedmen. During the 17 CHILDREN OF THE CHURCH. 91 years she continued in the work, more than 3000 different pupilscame under her instruction. For the last 17 years she has beenthe wife of B. F.
