IN THE FAR EAST. SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 1945. - Returned to Sydney in HMS RULER, Escort carrier of the British Pacific Fleet, are H J Brocker, of Nanly, Sidney, and Miss Mary Farster, of Ceylon. Brocker was a cadet on board the British ship NANKIN victim of a German raider in 1942 and was a prisoner of war in a Japanese camp for 3 1/2 years. On board NANKIN Brocker met Miss Forster. They returned to Sydney together on board HMS RULER
