The 28th Civil Engineer Squadron presented an explosives demonstration for Maj. Gen. Mark Weatherington, 8th Air Force and Joint-Global Strike Operations Center commander, during a visit to Ellsworth Air Force Base, , May 4, 2021. The demo took place at the 28th CES Explosive Ordnance Disposal range, which is dedicated to Staff. Sgt. Bryan D. Berky, an Ellsworth EOD technician who was killed in action while serving in Farah, Afghanistan, Sept. 12, 2009.
