Columns at Salamis Cyprus number 3902

Salamis was discovered and excavated while Cyprus was an independent country. It falls within the northern part of Cyprus in the area held by Turkey. Unfortunately the Turkish authorities will not allow further excavation, will not allow access to the whole site and refuse to allow restoration where it is clearly required.
