A gravity-loading pistol, Colette system, Jongen Frères, Liège circa 1860. Finely rifled bore in mm cal., octagonal barrel with upper magazine rail. Floral engraving on frame with signature on underside "JONGEN FRERES A LIEGE". Fluted walnut butt with engraved trigger guard and iron pommel cap. Worn finish and minimally pitted in places. Length cm. Comes with later(?) velvet-lined wooden case with some accessories and key (bullet mould missing). Dimensions x 22 x cm.
