Preparing food for after the days fasting, Putrajaya, Malaysia

Putrajaya is both a new planned city and federal territory south of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. It was purpose built to house the administrative centre for Malaysia, partly to get out of the traffic jam that is Kuala Lumpur and party as a statement of country and grandeur. It certainly is grand, with modern buildings, lake and curved bridges abounding. Not all government is there, with Kuala Lumpur retaining some ministries but there are residences for the officials, including the Prime Minister on site. Putrajaya can turn into a food fest during Ramadan. In this Holy month Muslins do not drink or eat between dawn and dusk. A food market, with a large range of food prepared, can be found here where Muslins can buy in readiness for the dusk and end of daily fast even if they cannot eat it yet.
