Schima Superba fire resistant seedlings, Hong Kong, China
Schima superba: polymorphic, evergreen tree. Reaches 120 ft tall with a spread of 60 ft. Due to its fire resistant qualities, it is commonly used for building firebreaks in south China in order to help control forest fires.
