Members of the Occupy London movement hold a press conference under the watchful eye of the Police.
London Ontario, Canada - March 21, 2012. Members of Occupy London hold a press conference in Victoria Park under the watchful eye of London Police. The group read a prepared statement regarding the Ontario Ombudsmans report that finds London City Council use of an in-camera session to evict the occupiers from Victoria Park in November 2011 as appropriate. The group points out the limits to the ombudsman mandate and that the report does not address whether in excercising municipal bylaws that the city violated the Canadian Charter of Rights. When asked if the group was planning on re-occupying Victoria Park, they answered there are no plans to occupy the park at this moment, but that it is always a possibility.
