Description and discussion The material consists of curved fragments of a species which may be referred toG. octocostatum. As indicated by Kennedy & Henderson (1992) andHenderson et al. (1992), G. indicum is a typical Maastrichtian species, and not conspecific withthe Santonian and/or Campanian material referred to this species by Klinger (1976: 79). Occurrence Uppermost Santonian and/or basal Campanian of Pondoland and KwaZulu, and lowerCampanian Madagascar.
