Sykes' monkey (Cercopithecus albogularis), also known as the white-throated monkey or Samango monkey, in a tree. This is a largely arboreal monkey which inhabits the forests of central, southern and eastern Africa. It is active by day. It lives in troops of between ten and forty individuals, governed by a dominant male. It feeds mainly on fruit and leaves, although slugs and worms are also taken. Photographed in Kenya
