Hottenstein, third son, isa graduate of Jefferson ^Medical College,but later took a course in dentistry, whichprofession he now follows at Akron, Ohio. Dr. Charles A. Hottenstein, fourth son,was born in Kutztown on Oct. i, 1871. Hereceived his early education in the publicschools of town and at the Keystone StateNormal School. Five sons ofDr. Edward Hottenstein also are graduatesin medicine. Dr. Elmer K. Hottenstein practiced heref((r several )ears, after which he moved toAkron, Ohio, where he is now following hisjjrofession. Dr. Edward L. Hottenstein, second son,was born August 12, 1864. He received hisearly education in the ])ublic schools ofKutztown and at the Ivcystone State Nor-mal School.
