The imposing flve- spotted flowers on long, vigorous stalks surmount the foliage in the most graceful manner, are of enormous size, perfectly round and of unusual substance. The individual petals are very broad and cover each other in such a manner as to make the iKiucrK iipiiL'ar almost double, the border of every petal being rnnoTiioi'onsly curled.
