To prevent the bees building comb in the empty space between the division board arid the side of the hive it should be filled with cork dust or rags before putting on the super. Even if the rearing of drones has commenced, they are unable to emerge from the cells for want of room. It is no use trying to prevent drone rearing by cutting out drone brood, as the bees will only build drone comb again; {To he continued.).
