Lago Vivo is a lovely lake situated in a mountain valley at 1700 metres above sea level. it is reached after a 2-hour climb from Barrea, in the southern part of the Abruzzo National Park, Italy. The small lake collects the snow and reaches its highest level in March/April. In the hotter summer months of July and August it almost completely dries up.
