Very large, pure white, lily-shaped, fragrant flowers in August and September; 2| to 3 feet. Undulata media picta. Green and white variegated foliage; purple flowers. Makes a fine edging; July; 2 feet. Price, 35 cts. each; $ per doz.; $ per 100. Liliums (LiUes) The two varieties offered below are expected to be ready for delivery late in August or early in September. Other sorts will be offered in our Autumn Catalogue. Candidum {Annunciation or Madonna Lily). This is one of the most popu- lar of garden Lilies. The flowers pure snow-white and very fragrant, borne on long stems. To succeed with it, it should be planted early in the autumn; give the bulbs a light dusting with powdered sulphur, and do not cover with more than 2 inches of soil; 3 to 4 feet; May and June.
